QualityGuard: automatic quality checks
What pass, review and fail mean, what each check measures and how to fix flagged results.
QualityGuard checks every cutout automatically and labels it pass, review or fail, with the measurement behind each result.
| Check | Looks for | Typical fix |
|---|---|---|
| Subject coverage | No subject found, or nothing removed | Use a clearer photo; set the subject type |
| Stray fragments | Small leftover pieces | Erase them in the mask editor |
| Missing regions | Holes in the subject | Restore them in the mask editor |
| Edge softness | Blurry or jagged edges | Try another subject type or a sharper source |
| Semi-transparency | Large see-through areas | Usually a difficult photo; retake if possible |
| Halo | Background colour around edges | Refine the edges in Image Studio |
| Frame contact | Subject cut off at the image edge | Use a photo with more space around the subject |
With AI helpers enabled, click Explain with AI for a plain-language explanation and next step. The statuses always come from the measurements, not from AI.
The checks are automated heuristics. A person should make the final call on product accuracy and marketplace compliance. The Quality page summarizes results over time and lists items waiting for review.
